My name is Kristy and I'm a Colorado native. Growing up I was the average little bundle of a mess, always drawing on the walls and even on the kitchen fridge. Now that I'm close to an adult I would say I have grown not only as a person, but an artist. I have had the privilege to take an Ap art class at Eaglecrest High School with Mrs Adams, which I will do again next year. My art is who I am, who I've become, and it will continue to allude to the person I have yet to be. Like many of us, we all have that special skill that simply stills time and calms who we are. I have found my path through painting and have learned to be myself through my art. I'm young and still growing but I have lived my life with the imagination of a creator and will proceed to live as such. As humans we have to leave our mark on the world, weather it's breaking a world record, inventing a new machine, or simply leaving behind a poem it's up to us to leave this world with some kind of mark, for me I want to live immortally through my art. Life is not the gift, the world is the receiver and we are the gift to the world.
